by Courtney Belolan Transparency is a key element of learner centered proficiency based education practices. We want learners to know what they are learning, and how and when they have learned it. In many cases this ends up looking like a class at the start of a unit during which the targets are unveiled, or maybe even “unpacked” with the learners. In many cases this is really the first thing that happens, before the rest of the learning experience or the project is introduced.

Vegetables are great, but most kids do not like eating them. As a parent, I feel like it is my job to have my children eat vegetables. It is a tough task, though, making them eat vegetables. I want to go and try and hide it in their favorite food, and it might just be the thing that I have to do. I will probably try my best to go and do it, but it is definitely going to take a lot.
